Springfield Memorial Hospital seeks a Weekend Only RN for Intermediate Care (IMC). This weekend-focused role offers premium pay and a potential sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.

The position supports neuro-medical, respiratory, surgical, post-trauma, and sepsis patients with opportunities to sharpen critical thinking and clinical skills. Education includes ADN or BSN with Illinois RN licensure and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (Illinois) required.
• BLS/CPR certification required per policy.
• ADN or BSN required.
• Must be able to position/transfer patients and perform related patient care duties; standing for long periods.
• Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and potentially hazardous materials.

Responsabilités

• IMC monitoring, ventilator management, and EEG observation.
• Acute stroke care, seizure disorders, and complex post-surgical recovery.
• Interpreting and responding to cardiac monitoring strips.
• Managing titratable medications, drainage tubes, and wound dressings.

• Licensed as RN in State of Illinois
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections.
• Environmental working conditions include exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue, contagious diseases and/or radioactive or other potentially hazardous materials.
