How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Floated adaptively across step-down and intermediate care units, delivering specialized nursing care and continuous telemetry monitoring to high-acuity, step-down patient populations.
• Managed titratable vasoactive drips, central lines, arterial lines, and non-invasive ventilation while swiftly acclimating to diverse unit workflows and EHR platforms.
• Executed targeted rapid assessments to identify subtle signs of acute physical or neurological deterioration, activating emergency response protocols to stabilize critical changes.
• Fostered immediate collaboration with multidisciplinary floating teams to ensure accurate clinical handoffs, safe medication administration, and comprehensive discharge planning.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
