Job summary

MedCadre in Texas is seeking a Night shift RN for IMCU/Step Down with 3x12 hour blocks (19:00–07:00) to float between units as needed. This role requires handling cardiac drips and post cath lab care, including trach/vent support where applicable.

The position emphasizes patient safety and high-acuity care in a Short Term Acute Care setting with Level II Trauma capabilities. On-site shift with weekend coverage as part of the rotation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Experience in IMCU/Step Down units
• Cardiac patient care experience

Department Uniform/Dress:

• a. The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire.
• b. The dress code for unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT) is solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above.
