Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• BLS certification needed within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience is preferred.
• ASLS certification is preferred.

Job Overview

RN – Imagining Services – PRN. Your experience matters at North Alabama Medical Center, a Lifepoint Health facility. As a Registered Nurse on our Imaging Services team, you will play a vital role in our mission of making communities healthier.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire.
