Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the minimum role with 12+ months in nursing. You will provide and coordinate independent care within a clinical specialty as part of the multidisciplinary patient care services team.

You are accountable for care quality, safety, and alignment with Nursing Mission and Values; you will engage in ongoing professional development and collaborate to support unit goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligible under MD Board of Nursing compact.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Must meet unit-specific certification requirements: PALS, ACLS, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent care to patients within a clinical specialty as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Act as a clinical resource for others and advocate for patient/family needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care; model safe, patient-centered practice.
• Participate in development and maintenance of unit-based orientation and education activities.
