Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate independent care in our clinical specialty as a core member of the multidisciplinary team. You will assess patients, develop and modify care plans, document care, and support patient education and safety.

The role requires Maryland RN licensure or compact eligibility, BSN preferred, ACLS/BLS, and 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN licensure or eligibility through compact state agreements.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year nursing experience.
• Solid knowledge and clinical skills.
• Up-to-date mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of the care team and supervise staff as assigned.
• Assess patients, develop and adjust care plans.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Support patient education and family involvement.
• Collaborate with Case Manager to evaluate outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in required clinical skills and assist physicians.
