Job summary

North Saint Paul Maplewood-Oakdale School District 622 is seeking a Registered Nurse II to support students’ health needs. The nurse will triage health concerns in the health office, plan for students with health conditions, and manage health needs across district sites.

Responsibilities include coordination of health services and contributing to evaluations and plans for students with health or special education needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse per MN Board of Nursing.
• Licensed as a Public Health Nurse per MN Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Driver's License (in-district travel).
• Knowledge of state and federal laws & regulations.
• Commitment to confidentiality regarding students & staff.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining relationships with school personnel and the community.

Location:District-Wide (Rotating Building Sites) - Castle, Cowern, Richardson, Weaver
Work Schedule:Mon-Fri, 8 hours per day, 192 days per year
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: $41.38 - $46.27
Benefits: Per Non Unit Guidelines
Summary:
The Registered Nurse 2 position will support the students of 622 by triaging student health concerns in the health office, planning for students with health conditions, and managing the health needs of our students. This position will also include management of special education student evaluations and plans.
Required Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the MN Board of Nursing
• Licensed as a Public Health Nurse in accordance with the MN Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Driver's License (in-district travel required)
