Job summary

North Saint Paul Maplewood & Oakdale School District 622 is seeking a Registered Nurse II to support students district-wide by triaging health concerns, planning for health conditions, and managing health needs of students. The role includes health records, medication administration, and collaboration with school staff.

The position requires MN RN licensure, CPR certification, and in-district travel. Start date is ASAP, with 192 work days per year and pay range $41.38–$46.27 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in MN
• Public Health Nurse license in MN
• CPR certification
• Valid Driver's License (in-district travel)
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations

• Ability to collaborate with school personnel and community

Responsibilities

• Delegates nursing procedures to school personnel with supervision
• Assigns nursing procedures to LPNs under supervision
• Maintains health service policies and records in District 622 systems
• Administers medications per physician orders and parent authorization
• Maintains health data and participates in IEP health components
• Supports health counseling and education for students and families
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to address student health needs
• Participates in crisis intervention and health program evaluation
