Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse in North Carolina to join our clinical team. You will plan and provide comprehensive nursing care, document care using the nursing process, and collaborate with physicians and staff to meet patient needs.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, has at least 1 year of clinical experience, and maintained BLS certification. You will also demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and safety practices to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program, or an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• Registered nurses without a Bachelor’s degree must enroll in BSN within two years and complete within five years.
• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience.
• Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of nursing process, scope of practice, and professional standards.

Job description

• Plan and provide professional nursing care according to medical and nursing plans of care, policies, and procedures
• Provide nursing services to patients and families within the North Carolina RN scope of practice
• Plan, provide, supervise, and document nursing care using the nursing process
• Use nursing judgment to individualize care plans based on patient assessment and response to care
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed care providers
• Assist nursing personnel and serve as team leader or charge nurse when assigned
• Monitor and initiate corrective action to maintain the care environment, equipment, and material resources
• Maintain required competencies and pursue professional development
• Act as preceptor and support development of staff and formal learners
• Identify clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities and participate in improvement activities
• Perform other related duties incidental to the role
• Provide comprehensive primary care support for children, teens, and adults, including preventive care, chronic illness management, screenings, immunizations, and routine treatments
