The Arc Caddo-Bossier is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care, supervise staff, and execute physician orders for recipients in ICFs and Home-Based Community Services. The RN will train staff, perform nursing assessments, and ensure safety according to federal, state, and local regulations under Title XIX.

Ideal candidates have ID/DD experience, hold a Louisiana RN license, and are able to pass screenings.

Formación

• Valid Louisiana RN license and liability insurance.
• Must possess a valid Louisiana driver’s license and driving record meeting policy standards.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and document nursing histories for recipients.
• Develop and follow plans of care with recipient, family and staff.
• Provide medication administration training to ICF/HBCS staff.
• Perform nursing assessments and evaluations.
• Train staff and consult with related professionals on medical needs.
• Carry out and verify orders and manage medication cycles.
• Serve on committees and be on-call as required.
• Supervise LPNs and other medical staff.
