Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability is seeking an RN to provide medication management and medical oversight across Downstate New York and Northern New Jersey. You will train direct care staff, document medical events, and communicate changes to care managers and families.

The role is full-time, typically M-F 10a-6p, with competitive compensation and bonuses based on experience. YAI prides itself on empowering people with disabilities to live fully and independently.

Qualifications

• RN license required in NYS.
• Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication management and medical oversight.
• Oversee training of direct care staff.
• Document medical appointments and medical issues.
• Inform care managers and parents of any medical changes.
• Provide on-call support (telephone only) on a rotational basis.
