Position Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care using the nursing process, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. The nurse must adhere to standards set by the state board of nursing, the nurse practice act, and other regulatory agencies. Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education and delegating patient care based on staff education and experience are essential.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina or a compact state.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification within 1 year of hire, maintained thereafter.
• AHA PALS certification preferred but not required.
