Job Overview

This ICU Registered Nurse opportunity is part-time and offers a flexible day shift schedule. The successful candidate will provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The role includes providing professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, with a foundation in Patient-Centered Care and Service Excellence.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Involve the patient and family’s psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Construct and implement the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care, develop goals, treatment, and discharge plans tailored to individual patient and family needs.
• Complete hourly rounds purposefully to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs (e.g., pain management, repositioning, toileting). Proactively evaluate the environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
