Per Diem Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Remote)

Locations: Johnsbury, Berlin, Newport, St. Albans, Bennington, VT

Primary Job Functions:

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone Treatment.
• Obtain patient history and conduct physical exams.
• Document into the EMR, enter orders for methadone dosing, or write buprenorphine prescriptions.
• Authorize and supervise dispensing of narcotic replacement therapy and other medications in the absence of the Medical Director.
• Monitor patient dosages in collaboration with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Education, and Certifications:

• Must have licensure in the State of Vermont.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in addiction medicine and MAT.
• Successful drug screening and background check.
