Remote Per Diem Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Lewiston/Portland, ME

HCRC (Health Care Resource Centers) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant who will work independently with oversight by the medical director.

HCRC specializes in addiction treatment programs that provide medically-supervised services for adults across various modalities and settings. Primary Job Functions:
  1. Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
  2. Obtain patient history and perform physical exams.
  3. Document findings into the EMR.
  4. Authorize and supervise the dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications in the absence of the Medical Director.
  5. Monitor patient dosages in collaboration with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors, and Dosing Nurses.
  6. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications, Education, and Certifications:
  • Must be licensed in the state of Maine.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in SUD treatment/MAT.
  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
