Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care for SIH patients in the assigned units. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

You will perform health teaching, use clinical judgment, and ensure accurate documentation while supporting patient safety and quality care. The role may involve floating to other SIH units within competency and meeting licensure/time-bound

Qualificações

• Associate, Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS Card.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or TNS within 1 year of hire or residency graduation (effective 6/2026).
• ECRN within 24 months of hire (effective 6/2026).
• NRP (within 6 months) for Mother Baby/Neonatal as applicable.
• PALS/NRP within 6 months as needed.
• ONSi infusion certifications with required courses.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients to determine medical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the health team.
• Educate patients and families to promote health and safety.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and critical thinking in patient changes.
• Document accurately in the medical record.
• Contribute to policy/procedure development for patient safety.
• Supervise licensed practical nurses and unlicensed staff as assigned.
• Advocate for patients through collaboration with health professionals.
• Complete required education, competencies, and licensure on time.
• Float to SIH nursing units within competency.
