Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care for SIH patients in our hospital setting, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care across multiple units. The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree (ADN/BSN/MSN), maintains Illinois RN licensure, and has current CPR/BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire is required.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, document meticulously, and collaborate with physicians, staff, and families

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Illinois.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP are referenced in requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine physical, mental, and spiritual needs.
• Establish compassionate environment and support patients and families.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care with the care team.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to promote health and prevention.
• Document accurately and timely in the patient record.
• Assist in policy development to improve patient safety and quality of care.
• Supervise and delegate to licensed/practical staff as needed.
