Central Carolina Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 8-bed ICU to provide high-quality care on the night shift (7p–7a) with rotating weekends. This role focuses on assessments, interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support patient stabilization and recovery.

Candidates must hold a current NC RN license with BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days of hire; ADN is required, BSN preferred. 1–2 years ICU experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 1–2 years ICU nursing experience required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely documentation of medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Our 8-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) offers a unique blended critical care experience, providing care across ICU, stepdown, and telemetry levels of care. Nurses work closely with the intensivist and gain valuable experience in patient assessment, stabilization, and clinical decision‑making while caring for a diverse patient population. As a close‑knit community hospital, every team member's contributions are recognized and valued. What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current North Carolina state or compact state RN license. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Associate's degree in nursing is required (Bachelor's degree is preferred)
• 1-2 years of recent RN experience in the ICU is required.
