Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Wound Care Clinic is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will support wound care protocols, coordinate with the care team, and uphold patient rights and privacy.

As a full-time team member, you will float within the department as needed, maintain professional accountability, and contribute to Mercy's mission of compassionate service and innovation in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Hyperbaric Chamber Operator certificate within 60 days.

Days

Overview :

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

Licensure : Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Licensure/Certification(s) : Within 60 days you will be required to have a Hyperbaric Chamber Operator certificate.

This position will float within department when needed.
