Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield's Wound Care Clinic is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician, and to operate the hyperbaric chamber safely. You will maintain related support systems and ensure the safe delivery of therapy to patients, while floating within the department as needed.

Education requires a high school diploma; 1 year of related experience is preferred (military corpsman, EMT, paramedic, LPN, CMA/RMA, CHt).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience preferred in one of the listed fields.
• Hyperbaric Chamber Operator certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy per physician orders.
• Operate hyperbaric chambers and related systems safely.
• Ensure safe delivery of therapy to patients.
