Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in Respiratory Therapist, Corpsman (Military) Medical Services, Specialist Nurse Practitioner, EMT-Basic, Paramedic, RN, LPN/LVN, CMA or RMA, CHT, Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Chamber operators must be certified/licensed in RT, Corpsman, NP, EMT-B, Paramedic, RN, LPN/LVN, CMA/RMA, CHT, Physical Therapist or PTA; intro hyperbaric training per NBDHMT is required or verified.

Responsibilities

• Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy per physician prescription.
• Operates hyperbaric chamber and related support systems safely.
• Ensures safe delivery of therapy and patient monitoring.

• Wound Care Center chamber operators must be actively certified or licensed in one of the following:

• Additionally, each chamber operator attends, or provides verification of attendance to, an Introductory Hyperbaric Training Course as approved by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT).

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft products and ability to learn computer software quickly.
• Strong working knowledge with insurance companies in obtaining referrals/authorizations/eligibility and benefits.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
