Job summary

Adoration Health in Parkersburg, WV seeks a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in home settings. You will assess needs, develop care plans, administer treatments, and support families with empathetic guidance.

Requirements include WV RN licensure, 1 year of nursing experience (3+ preferred), and ability to work independently with team support. Benefits and flexible scheduling are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active licensure in the operating state.
• Nursing experience in a clinical setting; hospice experience preferred.
• CPR certification and ability to drive to patient locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Create hospice care plans aligned with patient goals and wishes.
• Direct nursing care: administer medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management to patients.
• Educate and support patients’ families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation; participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch.

As a Hospice Registered Nurse You will:

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in state of operation
• One year nursing experience required , 3+ years preferred
• Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred
• Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification in states where required.
