Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to join our Parkersburg, WV team. You will provide patient-centered hospice care, develop care plans, administer medications, manage pain and symptoms, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

This PRN role offers on-call rotation, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth within a supportive environment. You will work 1:1 with patients in their homes, ensuring clinical and documentation excellence

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in state of operation
• One year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred
• Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification in states where required.

Responsibilities

• Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients
• Create hospice care plans that align with the patients wishes and goals
• Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions
• Provide pain and symptom management
• Educate and support the patient's family and caregivers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch
