Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) for weekend, per-diem visits in West Deptford, NJ.

This role serves hospice clients across Salem, Cumberland, and Gloucester counties, performing home visits on a per-visit basis and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Prerequisites include an active NJ RN license and at least one year of clinical experience; hospice/home health experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in NJ.
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Home health or hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to travel to cases.
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the supervisor.
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Case management and coordination.
• Document observations and interventions in the EMR.

BAYADA at Inspira Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated per-diem weekend Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in our BAYADA at Inspira Hospice office, located in West Deptford, New Jersey. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Salem, Cumberland and Gloucester County.

As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in NJ.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications, status, and subject to negotiation:
$42.00-$47.00 per hour
