Sentara Health in South Boston, VA seeks a Direct Care Registered Nurse for Home Health and Hospice. You will provide compassionate, professional nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings while prioritizing comfort and dignity at end of life.

The role requires 1 year of nursing experience, VA RN licensure, and BLS within 90 days of hire. Travel within a 50-mile radius may be involved and schedule is 8AM-5PM, full-time.

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Valid RN license in VA required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Home care/hospice experience preferred.

Overview

The Direct Care Registered Nurse - Home Health and Hospice Provides high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support during end-of-life care.

Anticipated Status/Shift

Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Day Shift (8AM-5PM)

Position Location

Sentara Hospice Services - South Boston, VA (travel can include up to a 50-mile radius for position)

Requirements

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• Valid RN License in state of practice (VA) (Required)

• BLS (Required within 90 days of hire)

Experience

• 1 year of nursing experience (Required)

• Previous Home Care/Hospice experience (Preferred)
