Job summary

Adoration Health in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Registered Nurse Hospice to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting. Office/coverage area includes York and Lancaster, PA, with a schedule of 8a to 8p on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Hospice RN will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, manage pain and symptoms, and educate families. A valid RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience are required; hospice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in state of operation.
• 1 year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care.
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Create hospice care plans that align with the patients' wishes and goals.
• Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management.
• Educate and support the patient's family and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as required by local branch
