Qualifications

• Ohio RN license is required.
• BSN must be completed within 5 years of hire for new graduates.
• AD or Diploma nursing degrees are acceptable for hire.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Certification in a clinical specialty within five years of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform full nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Coordinate with care team and communicate via SBAR during handoffs.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record accurately and timely.
