Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced RN in Ohio to provide holistic patient care within the hospital setting. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Candidates must hold an active Ohio RN license, maintain BLS, and obtain ACLS within 6 months for high-acuity units. BSN within five years of hire is required for those hired after Jan 2010.

Qualifications

• RN with current Ohio licensure.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• BSN within five years of hire for nurses hired after January 2010.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using the Nursing Process; identify safety risks.
• Develop and revise a multidisciplinary plan of care; communicate SBAR.
• Implement evidence-based nursing actions and monitor outcomes.
• Educate patients and families; provide holistic, age-appropriate care.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Lead, mentor, and support peers; participate in ongoing professional development.
