Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Thousand Oaks is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the inpatient nursing unit under the leadership of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing.

The RN will plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization, and may perform Charge Nurse duties with ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment (or compact licensure).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to inpatients on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Provide post-hospitalization teaching and access community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties if ACLS is met.
