Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Oklahoma City is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver and supervise patient care on the nursing unit under the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing. The RN will coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient/family education, and may take on Charge Nurse duties with ACLS certification.

Active RN licensure in the state (or compact), with BLS required and ACLS within 90 days of employment. One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact license.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
