PAM Health in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver and supervise patient care on the nursing unit, guiding interdisciplinary planning and discharge preparation. The role emphasizes patient and family education and safe post-hospitalization planning.

Under leadership of the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing, the RN may assume Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment, with BLS required at hire.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process on the unit.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization; access community resources.
