Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise comprehensive patient care on the nursing unit. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate discharge planning, and provide family teaching for post-hospital care.

Requires active RN licensure in the appropriate state, BLS certification, and ACLS within 90 days. Inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred but not required, with opportunities for growth across PAM Health

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment. BLS/ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Support interdisciplinary care planning and access to community resources.
