Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dover in Dover, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit. You will coordinate discharge planning and family teaching to ensure a smooth transition post-hospitalization.

Holders of a current RN license with BLS and ACLS (ACLS within 90 days) are encouraged to apply; ACLS is required for Charge Nurses. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care and education.
• Participate in discharge planning and family teaching.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
