Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dover in Dover, Delaware, is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient medical-surgical care. The RN will apply the nursing process, coordinate patient plans, and supervise care on the unit.

Candidates must hold an active RN license in DE (or compact), BLS, and ACLS; ACLS may be required for Charge Nurses. The role offers growth opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to promote from within.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the RN delivers, directs and supervises care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plans, coordinates and provides patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• Performs related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse duties with ACLS certification.
