Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide and manage patient care using the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation, across age groups from newborn to geriatric. Under general supervision, you will interview, educate, diagnose and document care while collaborating with the healthcare team.

This full-time daytime role offers a pay range of $28.04–$44.86 per hour, with generous educational assistance, PTO, wellness programs, paid parental leave, PSLF

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required. Work experience may not substitute for education.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• If job is in The Kirklin Clinic (TKC): CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care across all ages from newborn to geriatric.
