Job summary

The Hospitals Of Providence - East Campus (Tenet Healthcare) in El Paso, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical patient care across shifts. You will assess, plan, and implement nursing care per the nursing process while supervising staff and assisting the CNO to maintain high-quality, safe patient care and optimal resource use.

Required: state-approved nursing program; CPR; AHA BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Prefer acute care experience and a BSN/MSN.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a state approved nursing program or an accredited school.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct care per established safety and infection control standards; aim for optimal discharge planning.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within prescribed medical regimens.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Fulfill HICS responsibilities during emergencies or disasters.
• Know and follow hospital emergency codes and related procedures.
