Job summary

Villa at City Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team, assuming responsibility for a group of residents per shift and delivering care through assessment, planning, and evaluation.

The role requires providing licensed care, recording vitals, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring infection control and safety standards are met.

Excellent communication and a compassionate approach are essential to support residents and families in a senior care setting with Villa Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Long-Term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment areas
• Takes vital signs and administers IV therapy within license limits
• Documents care provided and resident responses
• Ensures safety and infection control standards are followed
• Directs non-licensed staff as needed
• Communicates with residents, families, physicians and staff as required
• Implements and updates care plans in collaboration with IDT
