Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the General Surgery Adult/Peds team. The RN balances direct patient care with coordination of activities across the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients and families.

The role requires an approved nursing degree (ADN/BSN/MSN) and Minnesota RN licensure with BLS certification. The position is 0.8 FTE with rotating day/evening shifts and every other weekend, offering a competitive benefits package.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule:

.0.8 FTE, Rotating Day/Evening 8-hour shifts & every other weekend

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master's degree program in Nursing. BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
