Job summary

MEP Health in Missouri is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care across diverse units, guided by the Nursing Professional Practice Model. You will coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, protect patient rights, and maintain confidentiality while following established guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care RN experience, with at least 6 months in the last year.
• Current RN license in Missouri.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across Med/Surg, ICU, Telemetry, Oncology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect patient rights.
• Adhere to institutional policies, state regulations, and ethics standards.
• Participate in a dynamic Float Pool to gain broad clinical experience and enhance assessment and communication skills.

Role Overview:

Provides patient care utilizing the Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and coordination with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, working within the scope of nursing practice and adhering to relevant guidelines, ethics, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care across various units, including Med/Surg, ICU, Telemetry, Oncology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patients' rights.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (6 months within the past year).
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in Missouri.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
