Job summary

WellStar is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a flexible float team providing patient care across multiple facilities within the WellStar Enterprise Support Team (W.E.S.T.). You will assess patients, administer medications, educate families, and document care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced ED settings.

Two years of ED experience, an active GA RN license or Compact, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required; TNCC or ATCN is

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent ED experience.
• Active RN license in GA or Compact.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC/ATCN certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients in the ED and develop initial care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Document care accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to respond to emergencies and changes in patient status.
