ClearSky Health in Waxahachie, Texas is seeking a dedicated RN for a hospital-level rehabilitation unit. You will provide patient-centered care in a post-acute setting with an interdisciplinary team to support complex medical needs and optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• 1+ year RN experience preferred (acute care a plus)
• CRRN preferred (rehab nursing)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a hospital-level rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborate with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, and respiratory therapy to coordinate care.
• Manage IV therapy, wound care, tracheostomy care, mobility support, and lines/tubes/drains as needed.

Hours

Full Time: 36 hours per week, every other weekend. Shifts: 5:45-6:15 PRN. Requirement: 4 shifts every 6 weeks (2 of which must be over the weekend). Base Compensation Range (Full-Time): $37.60/hr-$44.71/hr depending on years of experience. PRN Base Pay: $48/hr. Shift Differentials: $3/hr on weeknights (Mon-Fri), $6/hr on weekend days (Sat/Sun), and $8/hr on weekend nights (Sat/Sun). Charge Differential: $2/hr.

About the Role:

This position offers a higher level of clinical care than typically found in post-acute or residential settings. Our facility delivers hospital-level services that are comparable to those provided on a medical-surgical unit. Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team is equipped to manage a wide range of complex medical needs, including intravenous therapy, surgical and wound care, tracheostomy management, mobility assistance, and the comprehensive oversight of lines, tubes, and drains. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a healing environment focused on optimal recovery.

Position Highlights at a Glance:

• Average Patient Length of Stay: 10–14 days
• Conditions: Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, ortho, complex medical, and more
• Team Approach: Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & more
• Advanced Care: IVs, trachs, wound care, mobility support, lines, tubes, and drains
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay)
