Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a registered nurse to deliver and supervise care on the nursing unit, coordinate patient care, and participate in interdisciplinary planning. The role includes discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.

Responsibilities may include performing charge nurse duties and collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality patient education and outcomes in inpatient medical-surgical settings.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required
• Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
• Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
