Job Summary

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well‑being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or currently enrolled in a B.S.N. or advanced degree program with a requirement to obtain a B.S.N. within 5 years of hire. RNs with 10+ years of experience are exempt from the B.S.N. requirement.
• License: Must hold current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. An eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, but must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Experience: One year of hospital nursing experience.
