Job description

Role:

Provides leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Responsibilities:

Leading nursing teams, assessing patient needs, planning and executing care plans, supervising staff, and ensuring documentation accuracy. Supports safe, high-quality care aligned with hospital standards and patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in a BSN/advanced degree program with a plan to obtain BSN within five years. Experience exemptions available for those with ten or more years of nursing experience.
  • License: Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply; must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year hospital nursing experience.
