Job Summary
Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well‑being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a requirement to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire; RNs with 10+ years of experience are exempt.
- Current registered nurse licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON); eNLC license may apply.
- Must obtain registered nurse license within 30 days of employment start date.
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
Experience
One year of hospital nursing experience.
