CentraCare seeks a Float Pool Registered Nurse to work across hospital units, gaining diverse clinical experience and professional growth while contributing to high-quality patient care. Roles include night and day shifts with 12-hour options and weekend considerations as per unit policy.

Starting pay varies by degree: ADN starting at $42.86/hr, BSN at $44.34/hr, MSN at $45.82/hr, with a pay range of $42.86–$71.51 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Current Minnesota RN License required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• BSN or higher required within 36 months of being hired.
• Previous nursing experience is preferred.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across multiple units as a float pool RN.
• Adapt to different units and patient needs.
• Maintain high standards of nursing care while delivering safe, compassionate care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job description

CentraCare invites passionate Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Float Pool team. As a Float Pool RN, you will work in various units across the hospital. This variety helps you gain a wide range of clinical experiences and skills while offering a rewarding career with opportunities for professional growth, flexibility, and the chance to make a significant impact across various patient care settings.

Current openings (subject to change):

• Full-time | 60 or 72 hours every two weeks | Night shift | 12-hr shifts | 7pm-7:30am
• Full-time | 60 or 72 hours every two weeks | Day/evening | 8 and 12-hr shifts | 3-11:30pm and 7am-7:30pm

• Every third weekend | Holidays per unit policy

Pay and Benefits

• Pay based on experience and degree

To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

To be eligible for the relocation assistance, you must accept a full time or part time benefited position and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it with 120 days of employment.
