Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL seeks a Night Shift, Full-Time Registered Nurse to join the Float Staffing department. You’ll provide direct patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

You will implement and monitor care plans, document patient status, carry out orders, and help coordinate services to ensure safe, effective caregiving. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required, with tuition support and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida prior to hire.
• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient condition and communicate updates.

• Interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
  Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date
  or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of
  Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained
  prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
  hire required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

2 years acute care experience.
