Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for a leading Cincinnati-area health system. This role supports a 130+ year tradition of clinical excellence with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, deliver evidence-based care, document in EMR, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. BLS and ACLS are required, with ACLS training within 6 months for ICU/step-down units.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients: Evaluate physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans: Create personalized plans prioritizing patient needs and goals with patients and families.
• Deliver patient care: Provide evidence-based care, educate patients and families, and implement interventions.
• Evaluate outcomes: Monitor responses and adjust care based on outcomes and evidence-based practices.
• Drive improvement: Partner with Clinical Manager on Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Promote High Reliability: Apply High Reliability principles to improve care and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor: Motivate, educate, delegate, and mentor peers and team members.
• Document care: accurately record the nursing process, education, updates, and responses in EMR.
• Maintain compliance: Follow policies and complete required training.
