Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake in Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit. You will use the nursing process, plan interdisciplinary care, and support discharge planning and family teaching for post-hospitalization needs.

Current RN license and BLS are required; ACLS is preferred after 90 days and required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs and ICU.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying to.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred after 90 days; required from day 1 for Charge Nurses/High Obs/ICU.
• Experience or comfort with vents, trachs, PICC lines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care using the nursing process on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and community resource access; may serve as Charge Nurse when needed.
