Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Tulsa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care on the medical-surgical unit. Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will deliver, direct and supervise patient care, coordinate interdisciplinary planning, and assist with discharge teaching for post-hospitalization needs.

Current RN licensure in the state or a compact license is required, along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required. ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plans, coordinates and provides patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
